Artis Construction’s project, the preservation of the historic Henry Hutchinson house, was recognized in Veranda Magazine, Summer 2023.

Homes face adversity – earthquakes, flooding and the occasional rat infestation. It is through the efforts of a city and preservation community that enables recovery and proactive learning through a steadfast commitment to historic continuity that we will truly recover from these difficult conditions. 

Artis Construction was recognized in Preservation Magazine, Winter 2021 for their contribution to the preservation of the historic Henry Hutchinson house.

In late January, the Preservation Society of Charleston honored several buildings in the Lowcountry during the Carolopolis Awards, which recognize projects exhibiting “exemplary efforts in preservation.” Artis Construction’s recent work on The Faber House was one of those recognized.

A current Artis Construction project, the Faber House was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Ongoing work by Artis Construction at Edisto Island’s historic Henry Hutchinson House was recognized in Spring 2019 publications by both The Edisto Island Open Land Trust and the Preservation Society of Charleston.

Artis Construction was recognized in the Edition 2, 2019 issue of Worth Magazine.
